The Leki Micro Vario Carbon Strong Poles are a fantastic set of compact folding poles that have a wider pole diameter and additional length to offer you a sturdy and well supported hike a more robust aluminium bottom section to withstand scuffs and bumps and a more comfortable grip and neoprene strap These poles also include both a pair of removable trekking baskets and mountain baskets making them ideal for trekking mountain walking and ski touring The Leki Micro Vario range of folding poles are lightweight and they quickly and easily pack down to 37cm and come in a mesh branded stuff sack so you can keep your poles inside your backpack for when you need them When it is time to get them out simply let the poles drop down line them up and run your hand up to the line to the bottom of the top section then pull this extending section into place until the silver button pops out All the sections will now be securely rigid and in place Now just use the speed lock to adjust the length of your Leki walking poles to fit your height the terrain and the gradient These poles are slightly longer than the standard Micro Vario Carbon and offer a height range from 120 to 140cm These Carbon Strong Poles have an Aergon Thermo and Thermo Long grip for a longer and more comfortable hold and the Neoprene locking security strap offers a comfortable way to make sure that your poles stay close when you are walking We really like the fact that these poles have a long flex tip but also come with both touring baskets as well as big mountain baskets making them ideal for mountain hikes as well as regular walks too
