Once considered the most elegant apartments for judges in all of England and Wales, this historic building eventually fell in to disuse and decay, before being meticulously renovated to its plush former glory. Downstairs you’ll be met by the dingy servants’ quarters, while upstairs you’ll find beautifully restored private judge’s apartments. Throughout the experience, you’ll be accompanied by an eavesdropping audio tour guide featuring stories of the Chairman of the Magistrates, Mary the hardworking maid and William Morgan the local duck thief.
