All big days start with a cup of coffee so you and your instructor will sit down with a steaming cup before getting down to the important stuff! Once you’re refuelled it’s time for the briefing, where your instructor will explain how pilots study the weather and use this to decide a route and file a flight plan. After this it’s on to the really practical stuff, and you’ll learn everything you need to know about handling the aircraft in the air. When you’re prepared and the plane is fuelled up it’s time to take off. Upon arrival at your destination it’s time for a quick bite to eat before enjoying the scenic route home.
