Limited stock. Top of the range in the production of vermouths from the Jerry Thomas Project, this represents the union between the noble distillate and the elegant aromatised wine. Classic vermouth is aged in Islay Whisky barrels for over 18 months and this process allows it to capture the unique character of the famous spirit. Every year there is a limited production of only one barrel, from which 337 bottles were extracted in 2014. The intense amber colour introduces enveloping aromas, distinctly marked by peat smoke, which are perfectly matched by the aromatic complexity of the vermouth. Very soft and velvety when tasted, it expresses roundness, a strong body and warm persistence enriched by evident smokey hints.
