Under the watchful eye of Ian MacMillan (Master Blender), Black Bottle evokes the tradition and legacy of the Graham\'s. The focus on Islay is no longer as it confused blended and malt Scotch drinkers alike. The new liquid retains the rich distinctiveness and is a more balanced, smoother finished whisky, married together in virgin oak casks giving a slightly sweeter taste. Nose : Fresh and floral with freshly sawn oak aromas. Spicy with hints of smoke. Palate : Silky, mellow and fruity with balanced smoky / peaty flavours then sweet oak and heather honey. Finish: Soft, elegantly spicy, nutmeg, pepper and a gentle lingering smokiness.
