Using Organic and Fairtrade certified sugar cane grown in El Salvador. Sourced directly from co-op of 209 independent farmers, including 27 women and 182 men (ACOOPAES - Asociacion Cooperativa de Produccion Agropecuaria El Sunza). Distilled in column by Licorera Cihuatan, the only distillery in El Salvador. Gorgeous note of liquorice, brown sugar, hazelnuts on the nose. Smooth and buttery mouthfeel with notes of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and subtle molasses. Coat the palette nicely for a lasting finish providing a little spice, dry fruits and cacao note.
