Clean tasting and a slightly more rustic style of Manzanilla, this has an appealing and honest scent on the nose. On the palate it is smooth and harmonious with hints of whisky, subtle saltiness and chamomile. Fresh, dry with good complexity and a persisting, pleasant flavour. Manzanilla Solear should be drunk as young and fresh as possible and consumed within a week. It should be served well chilled. It is the perfect accompaniment to a range of starters such as cured ham, artichokes, asparagus, cold and hot soups, fish and shellfish. Try it also with sushi and wasabi peas!
