Nose: Fresh, mineral and very herbaceous. Sweet potato, grilled pear, roasted nuts, fresh parsley and white pepper.
Palate: Dried fruits, cooked agave, tamarind, sweet potato, toast bread, and earthy notes. Smooth and sweet.
The name pedregal refers to a piece of rocky land.
Rancho El Pedregal\' is formed by two rocky hillsides in a V shape. There is a small river running in between them which serves as the border between Arandas and Jesus Mara municipalities, meaning this field belongs to both counties. The field is located around 1km southeast of La Altea Distillery at 2,050 meters average elevation.
