Moscato, with other vines from Piedmont, is matured in wooden casks for a long period and then it is refined in Madeira island barrels for some months. These barrels had been previously used to maturing \'Madeira\' of the most prestigious wineries. This particularly kind of passage, already tried for whiskey, and experimented by Sibona Distillery on grappa, has proven to be exceptional as regards to grappa\'s quality results. Its involving and fruity bouquet and unique flavour, rich and elegant with a floral aftertaste, recall those of Madeira.
