It was their third attempt. But on April 28th 1923, Bolton Wanderers won their first FA Cup with a 2-0 win over West Ham. It was the first final to be played at Wembley and no fewer than 127,000 supporters crammed in to watch. Two more Cup Final wins followed in \'26 and \'29 before, 30-odd years later, Bolton enjoyed another heyday. This time it was spearheaded by the great Nat Lofthouse and culminating in another FA Cup win a 2-0 win over United.
