PROPOSED REGULATIONS FOR THE INSTRUCTION, FORMATION AND MOVEMENTS OF THE CAVALRY PART 2 AND 3
The preface to this volume explains that a Board of Cavalry officers had given the task of revising the instructions for cavalry training. The result was the publication in 1832 o two volumes, Part 1 dealt with Equitation and the training of recruits and parts 2 and 3, which are include in this volume, the instruction of troops and squadrons (2) and the field movements of regiments (3). Parts 2 and3 are contained in one volume, as published, with numerous diagrams. There is also two pages of corrections since printing. The binding is faded in parts, but in good condition. The text is clean, with some fading at the edges, but no foxing.
