This is volume 2 only. Published in 1807, this book contains a large collection of poems by various writers, some famous and others obscure. This collection was edited by Robert Southey. This is a leather copy with panelled boards, as well as gilt lettering on the covers and spine. Condition: the boards suffer from moderate to severe shelf-wear and bumping, while the spine shows some heavy tearing. The front board has been rebound with glue. The head of the spine is severely bumped. The book’s edges display some denting and marking. The interior pages are marked and foxed, and (in a couple of places) torn. All the text is legible and the binding is fairly strong. Overall, this book is in fair condition.
