Beige cloth boards with embossed red titles and decorations to board and spine. The binding is firm but there are one or two cracks at the internal hinge. The page edges are grubby but the text is generally clean and clear. The book contains a loose photograph that appears to be signed by the author. The photograph is foxed. It is on very similar paper to the rest of the book and looks like a frontispiece, but it is not obvious that the page has come away from the binding. There is some minor pink staining/water staining to the bottom leading edge of the last four pages and the rear feps and paste-down.
