Published in 1930 simultaneously in Holland by Martinus Nijhoff, The Hague, and in Great Britain by Messrs George Allen & Unwin Limited, London. This first edition published in The Hague and printed in Holland. A good tight copy with red board covers and gold title to front and spine; front slightly discoloured at top edge and corner, spine faded; yellowing deckle fore edge and bottom edge, slight foxing throughout. Six chapters, 360 pages, with Appendix, bibliography and list of abbreviations. Bookplate “Sible van der Wind” and handwritten name and date inside front cover but otherwise unmarked.
