Very scarce undated copy of this book. Shan F Bullock, an Irish novelist, author and playwright was writing at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th, and this book was published in 1906. The illustrated boards are faded, stained and grubby but otherwise intact with just slight wear at the edges, and the corners are bumped. Internally the binding is secure but the front boards are pulling away slightly at the bottom. It opens onto the title page, so there look to be endpapers missing at the front. A previous owner has written their name in pencil and red pen on the front pastedown. There is some staining on title page and back endpaper. There is some coloured pencil highlighting on the first page, and the page opposite. The pages are mostly clean but there is a bit of grubbiness and light foxing on some. The cut edges are grubby.
