Essentially an autobiography which was \'dictated\' to the editor, this is the story of a Dane, Captain Christian Klengenberg, who went to sea at the age of 14 and later became a trapper, hunter and trader in Alaska. In this capacity he travelled extensively throughout the Arctic regions and \"probably had more exciting and unusual adventure in the Arctic than any other man on record.\" Contains a number of black and white photographs. The book is in good condition with minor signs of wear and tear. The corners are bumped, one page of photographs has a tear and crease in the upper border and there are some marks in the border of a page of text where a sticker has been removed. Neither of these issues affect the content of the pages. The dust jacket is grubby and torn.
