Molly B Thomson was a prolific illustrator and writer of children\'s books in the 1940s.  Many of these were designed for use as easy readers for young children, and illustrated delightfully. Our book is a small item of just 16 leaves, stapled into decorated card covers, the front cover trimmed around the illustration of mountains.  Peep-through/cut out \'windows\' are a feature of several pages.  Staples are rusty, there are minor creases to the rear cover, and a young owner has inscribed his name inside the front cover.  For its age, and probable use, this is in remarkably good condition.
