Published in 1932 this book is in fair condition. The cover is of blue cloth and is intact however the spine has faded in color.  The pages are clean and intact although a little yellowed with minor foxing.  The Frontispiece ( Macduff Harbour) is in color. Another 150  Line Drawings, by the author, are included in this book.This book makes no pretence to be an exhaustive treatise on sea-fisheries. It merely tries to give landsmen who have neither the inclination nor the opportunity to find out for themselves some idea of how fish are caught and the chief methods employed in their capture.
