The author\'s diary of his first summer in his new home in Anglesey. Profusely illustrated with black and white engravings and full page colour plates of scenery and bird life. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper, dated April 26th 1953. Hardback book in good to very good condition. No dust jacket. Ends of spine bumped, corners a little worn. A few marks to the red cloth-covered boards. The cloth of the front board is darkened towards the top. Foxing to the fore edge of the text block which has affected the very edge of the pages where the spotting occurs.  Internally the condition is very good with text and images clear and the colours bright.
