Studies in the Archaeology of the Iron Age in Israel and Jordan
Signed on title page with message \'congratulations\' by the editor, in black ballpoint. No dedicatory name. Published in the Journal for the Study of the Old Testament Supplement Series, 2001, No. 331. 1st printing, it seems. Jacket may be slightly faded, or the design is just pale in parts. Small tear at top of  edge-fold, at rear. A little discoloured along the top edges inside the jacket, very minor wear and rubbing to surfaces. Green cloth boards with gilt lettering and small figure of a lion to front, gilt lettering to spine. All very clean. Minor faint spotting along top edges of pages. Glossyish paper, so that b/w photos are decently reproduced, but a touch contrast-y & possibly a little too small. Line graphs & diagrams are mostly very clear. Text clear, pages clean, no annotation, highlighting etc. Editor: Professor of Archaeology, The Hebrew University, Jerusalem. An errata slip is tipped in to front free end-paper but face down, which seems unhelpful. Pp7 - 12: Contents. Preface. List of Abbreviations. List of Contributors. Pp326 - 337: Index of Authors. Index of Place Names. Finally, unpaginated, the Series list. Part I: Settlement Patterns And Landscape Archaeology, contains 4 papers, pp14 - 146.Part II: Temples, Cult And Iconography, contains 6 papers, pp148 - 277. Part III: contains 3 papers, pp280 - 325. Each paper has its own bibliography.pa-316721
