Blue cloth covered book with gilt titles on the spine.  The corners are not bumped but they show some wear, the ends of the spine are slightly bumped.  The cover shows some rubbing but is otherwise in good condition.  A previous owner\'s name and address is on the fep and there is a hand written note on the next page.  There is some light foxing to the first and last few pages and slight discolouration of the pages throughout the book.  The book is clean and tightly bound.  On the title page there is a blind stamp saying \"With the publisher\'s compliments\".  This is volume 1 of 4,
