A hardback in fair condition. Blue boards with gilt decoration. The boards show significant wear, particularly at the spine. There is significant corner bumping and chipping. The hinges are cracked and the front board is detached for approximately 12cm from the bottom edge. The pages are tight and gold gilt-edged. There is some foxing. There is some tanning around the edge of the pages, particularly the pages with engravings. This book, Wanderings by the Loire by Leitch Ritchie, features 21 engravings from drawings by J. M. W. Turner.
