History of the Markhams of Northamptonshire. Privately published in 1890. One hundred copies only. Hardback, vellum binding. Scarce and collectable. First edition.  This is an early copy, number 12 of the 100 printed. CONDITION: The covers, spine and binding are excellent for the age, intact and fairly unmarked. The front cover has a slight curve to it. The pages are tanned and there are some brown spots inside the the front and back covers. Gilt edge to top of pages. The illustrations still have the protective paper. (See photos for reference)
