Published circa 2006 this book is in good condition throughout.   This history shows how the village has coped with the many changes that have occurred over the years, within essentially the same road pattern.  It is in three parts.  Parts I and II take the history of the village up until the beginning of the 20th Century.  They were written by a local historian, Joyce Donald, in the 1970s and are reprinted here with minor textual alterations.  Part III was commissioned by the Long Crendon Preservation Society as a Millennium Project.  This recounts the village\'s history up to recent times using, to a large extent, the memories of long term village residents.   Included are b/w and colour photographs as well as a map showing the sites of many of the old buildings and places of interest mention in this book.
