Published in 1954 this book is in very good condition for its age.  It is clean and intact throughout.  There is a small pen marking on the first page which is likely to be the previous owner\'s name.  The jacket is in fair condition: there is a minor tear to the top edge and some discolouration to the spine and edges. The book provides a general introduction to the subject of mass spectrometry.  Emphasis is placed on those aspects of the subject which are of particular interest to chemists.
