What appears to be a first edition copy of this delightful antiquarian children\'s book. A heartwarming story of redemption through selflessness and putting others before oneself.  It tells the story of an escaped circus bear who is befriended by a fairy who had been turned into a pig and banished until he could prove that he had reformed. Book is in fair condition for its age (1950) with wear to the cover and water staining to fist and last two pages as shown in photographs.
