Hardback with light blue cloth boards and navy titles to spine and front cover in very good condition.  Some rubbing to spine edges and corners. Handling marks to spine. Elongated stains to back board (5 cm). Textblock edges tanned and lightly foxed.   Author\'s signature and inscription on ffep, which is lightly foxed and tanned; secondary inscription to previous owner underneath. Back endpaper has listing of books and prices in black felt-tip in child\'s handwriting. Coloured frontispiece and one black and white map.
