Published in 1901 these two volumes are in good condition for their age. The only issue with the condition is that both volumes have some staining on the page edges and some foxing. Both volumes are tightly bound however the spines have sunned. Inside the front cover is the previous owner\'s name. The volumes come in a slipcase however it is uncertain whether this is the original slipcase.
