During his lifetime, he was one of the most well known of the Romantic poets, although his reputation did not last as well as those of his fellows Wordsworth, Coleridge, and Byron. Marbled boards with leather corners and spine, and gilt tooling. Brown endpapers and pastedowns. The front endpapers are coming loose as shown in our photograph, and the top section of leather at the spine has come off but is in our possession and will be sent with the book. Leather is generally rubbed and marked, and there is a mark on the back cover where a label has been removed. Some marks around page edges, but little foxing. A once-handsome little book that would benefit from care.
