Leather-bound hardback with titles lightly embossed to spine in very good condition, just light scuffing to boards. Spine and edges of book are lightly rubbed. Leather is scraped adjacent to spine on back board.  Front board has light arced scratch (6 cm) and several small black spots. Red marbled endpapers and textblock edges in red. Light foxing to first and last leaves.Previous owner\'s bookplate pasted in on inside; additional name also inscribed in black ink on following page, at top. Textblock in very good plus condition: clear, bright and unmarked. Extensive footnotes, with some bibliographical detail. Introductory section followed by individual chapters on analysis on 30 parables.
