For sale is a rare mid nineteenth century copy of H. S. Robert\'s Punch and Judy Quadrille. Published by Ashdown and Parry, London. It is impressed with a mark on the upper left-hand cover \"Ashdown & Parry Late Wessel & Co, Hanover Square, London\". Undated, but the stamp can only date from 1860 at the earliest, as that\'s when Wessel & Co became A&P. Research seems to suggest a date between 1860-1882. Fourteen (14) pages. Beautiful hand-coloured front cover in excellent condition for its age, with one minor nibble to the U of the \"Punch\" in the title. Internally clean and bright with a few minor marks, and some light foxing. There are some performance annotations in pencil in a 19th century hand. The music remains playable and readable.
