FIRST EDITION: Half leather cover with marbled boards.  The spine is black leather with gilt titles on a red leather block.  The corners are lightly bumped and there is rubbing to both ends of the spine.  Inside the front cover a previous owner has inscribed his name and address, on the facing title page other names have been inscribed.  This page has an illustration of a waterfall, it is the only illustration in this edition.  Internally there is some foxing but otherwise the book is clean and tightly bound, the pages are discoloured with age.  The author of the book was John Timb and the book was published in 1822 by John Warren of Old Bond Street, London.
