Roo-coo, who wants a flock of little white pigeons just like himself, finds a beautiful bride at the Birds\' Beauty Bath. His wife Panessa promptly produces seven eggs, but all the hatchlings are grey, like her grandfather, who was a common pigeon. The enraged Roo-coo throws her and the children out of the bird house, but he takes them back after a series of disasters, and the family lives happily ever after. Condition: The binding is very fragile and the boards heavily worn, stained and soiled. The title page is missing and several other pages are loose. Some internal pages are a little grubby, as is to be expected with what is clearly a well-read book.
