1930 popular edition of this historical novel first published in 1925. The second book of Garstin\'s Penhale series. Green cloth boards with black lettering on spine. Some rubbing wear on corners of spine. Cracked front hinge. There is foxing on the front free endpaper and on the text block edges, but internally there are some foxing spots only on the extreme edges and not on the text. The binding is slack but otherwise in good order.
