The History of England from the Accession of James II (3 vols)
Three volumes 1 - 3, vol 1 1909, vols 2 and 3 1907. They appear to be ex-Penzance Library but there are no stickers or stamps - the only way of knowing this is that there is some kind of circular pin prick measuring one inch across on the title page, which is almost invisible on the title pages, with the name of Penzance Library pricked into it (also on the last page of 2 of the volumes, not obscuring the text). 25 H written in pencil on the front pastedowns is possibly a library code. Small bookseller\'s label also on front pastedown. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering all in very good and barely worn condition. There is a very small dent on the spine base of Vol.1. Internally in very good condition. There are some light foxing marks on the paste downs and endpapers but otherwise the pages are clean with no foxing. Just a couple of spots on the text block cut edges on 2 vols.
