This is a great opportunity for any map enthusiast to purchase a rare copy of the Essex Records Office Publications 1960 reprint of Chapman & Andre’s 1777 Map of Essex. This is a paperback booklet consisting an introduction and 25 plates. The cream card covers do show some signs of handling but are in overall good condition. The string binding is in good condition and there is no signs of splitting. The introduction and plates are all in very good condition with no sign of foxing or toning. There are no annotations or inscriptions and the text and maps are bright and clear throughout. Overall, this is a very nice example of classic historic map series in very good condition.
