\'The Donkey from Dorking\' - delightful children\'s storybook, illustrated by Lidia Vitale and Janet Hopkins. Black and white line drawings throughout, integrated with text (see image 2 and 3 for example). Published 1942. First edition. In general, good condition. Red cloth boards show some shelf wear and sun fading along spine, with faint staining and remnants of children\'s pencil scribble on front. This book has been well used and there is some marking and fingerprint discolouration at intervals along the page edges, although this does not spread onto the text and illustrations. On page 6 there is a small area of pencil colouring (see image 4). Taking these faults into consideration, a low price for this lovely collectable item.
