The covers have bumping on all edges. And a small tear at the top of the spine.There are some marks and creases. The covers appear to have originally been blue/purple with gold debossing, but have discoloured to almost brown on the front.The outer page edges are discoloured and there is some marking/foxing on the page edges and occasionally in the book. The binding is slightly loose but the book is intact. Some of the pages have some marks which do not obscure the text.There is a stamp from the Battersea Salesian School on the inside back cover.
