Descriptive travel book, this version published in 1911 of \'a sentimental journey\' through France and Italy with introduction by Wolmer Whyte. It was to be Laurence Sterne\'s last work before he died in 1768. Picture of Laurence Sterne opposite the title page.Decorative green boards, with gilt lettering and decoration on the spine. The boards are in very good condition with just some superficial rubbing and slight wear on the edges and corners. Internally mostly clean and in good order. Decorative endpapers with some slight browning.
