First edition of this book with dustjacket.   In addition there is a compliments slip and a letter from John Murray (from John Murray publishers) where he thanks B.A.R. Carter (painter and teacher and professor of perspective at Royal Academy Schools 1975 - 83) for reading the typescript of Gwen White\'s book on perspective and for his comments. It would seem that the comments refer to a different book on perspective than this one which was published in 1954, as they are dated 1957, but the letter refers to her earlier book which he enclosed, so that must be this one.  The red boards with white lettering are in very good condition with just a tiny nick in the cloth right at the bottom spine. The illustrated dust jacket have some closed tears on the spine crease and flap crease but are otherwise intact. Illustrated on every page in both colour and in black and white line drawings. The pages are clean and in good order and with firm binding.
