This book describes the post-war years of those who served in Britain\'s Brigade of Gurkhas, culminating in the undeclared war against Indonesia in the Borneo Territories and Birdie Smith\'s fight against disability. The fact that he continued serving is a tribute not only to his resolution but to the family spirit of the Brigade which welcomed him back, scars and all.Book covers show mild creasing and wear.
