The bottom corner near the spine on the front endpaper has been creased showing the original red cloth board. Wear to top and bottom of spine. Endpapers black. Free front endpaper has slight tear. Gilding to page edges bright. Slight foxing on tissue protector for title page. Pages slightly yellowed but clean. Illustrations by John Tenniel. Half-title page has inscription “From E Knight to S King”
