29 WW2 postcards sent home in the summer of 1918 from Italy by Private (?) Wallie A Durrant, whilst on active service. 1 is unwritten and there is a 6 card diatribe where he talks of not having had to make “the supreme sacrifice”. Most of the pictures are rustic, classical-type scenes by D Mastroianni and many carry the censor’s stamp. The cards are in quite good condition for their age.
