This book is in very good condition. Externally there is some light damage to the corners and along the edges of the spine. There is also a couple of small white marks on the front cover. Internally there are two inscriptions on the back of the front cover written in pen. On both the first and last page there is heavy foxing. All the pages are clean, tight and unmarked. Some claim the Lady Hope\'s visit during his last illness caused Charles Darwin to deny the Theory of Evolution.
