The Children\'s World of Wonder - complete 3 volume set  by Joseph Sinel.  Published by Caxton Publishing in 1924. Sinel was a well-known and much published amateur naturalist and archeologist who lived all his life on the island of Jersey.  Books are in good condition.  Red cloth boards with black writing to spine and gilt to front-cover. Spines are a little frayed and slightly sun-faded. Stitching is good throughout. Frontispiece of vol 3 is loose.  Very minor foxing and browning commensurate with age, but text clear and legible throughout. Lavishly illustrated plates ,mostly b&w.  No dj\'s.    This set would make an excellent addition to a collection of antiquarian children\'s books as well as providing a glimpse into the world of an amateur naturalist at the beginning of the 20th century.
