*** HALF PRICE *** Revista, Dos Centenarios - 2 vols, 1939 and 1940, in Portugese
The Centenarian Journal was the organ of the Executive Committee of the National Committee of the Centennial, chaired by Antonio Ferro , and its main objective was to propagandize the Portuguese World Exhibition and serve as the project file, studies, architectural plans, opinions, reports, investigations, research and other relevant works produced by the Commission. A total of 24 issues were published between January 1939 and December 1940. The text is in Portugese.Volume 1, containing the issues for 1939, is in very poor condition, with the boards detached from the book block and nothing remaining of the spine. It does not look as if any pages are missing, though. However, the issues in Volume 1 have been bound together without their coloured covers, unlike those bound in Volume 2, 1940. The second volume is in better condition, retaining its spine, although the leather is rubbed and fraying on the back and on the spine, and at the edges of the boards. Both covers are stamped with gilt titles and a shield and sword design.Together these volumes weigh over 2kg and will therefore incur extra postage charges.
