The wooden handle is curved and made of hickory and is treated with linseed oil. The axe is particularly suitable for branch trimming and clearing bushes. This chopping axe is hand forged and manufactured from Swedish axe steel according to tradition since 1697 and it takes many blows of a hammer to process the axe steel, which actually improves its density and makes the axe more durable.
