The Little Red Hen works very hard, while the other farm animals laze about on the farm. She discovers some wheat and decides to make bread out of it, but all the other animals refuse to help. When the bread is baked, the hen declines to share because the others were not ready to work for their food. Orange level titles introduce new words and reinforce those already encountered.
