She is the loved-one, standing on a rock in a yellow dress, waving goodbye to her sailor with a red scarf flying in the wind. Inspired by a drawing, Kit originally created the design for a fabric and the pale blue border echoes this, skilfully embellished with a deeper blue and a hand-applied 22 carat gold trim. The plate is backstamped for authenticity and beautifully presented in a Wedgwood signature blue gift box.
