As an accompaniment to our Lucy collection of fine bone china, weve dreamed up a trio of biscuits inspired by traditional English cakes. Our tribute to the classic Chelsea bun is a rich, fruity biscuit, with a cinnamon kick and spicy hints of nutmeg and ginger its a scrumptious way to add some metropolitan class to teatime. The Chelsea bun was first baked in the famous Chelsea Bun House, a favourite haunt of King George II and his family. The Bun House was demolished in 1839, but this kingly treat lives on to this day as a cornerstone of British baking we think our all butter biscuits would have been worthy of George II himself.
